Slow Down to Speed Up: Critical Input to Double Check Before Submitting

Heavy workloads can have you rushing into action, leading to mistakes that our Customer Success Team can help fix. However, certain errors cannot be remedied and may require starting the listing again. Remember “Slow Down to Speed Up” to avoid costly mistakes. See the table below for three fields that cannot be revised.

Property Type

The Issue
Matrix will show you the relevant fields based on the property type you choose. You won’t be able to toggle back to the Start Listing tab to edit your listing after you’ve entered your selections.
Our Advice
If your not sure which property type to choose, look at the the Dictionary of Property Types

Price Change

The Issue
Original list price cannot be changed once submitted. You don’t want to have to put a “Price Increase” across a brand new listing, and small typos here can dramatically skew MLS data.
Our Advice
Take a close look at the price to ensure there are no typos, missing or extra numbers.

Status Change

The Issue
Listing history, including status changes, cannot be overwritten once entered.
Our Advice
Check Your Listing ID to make sure you’ve selected the correct listing and status.
