REcolorado Supports Community Connection

One of the most important aspects of the workplace culture at REcolorado is our connection to the community. Lending a helping hand is part of our DNA and we enjoy giving back to the causes that matter most to our customers, whether we’re making donations for disaster relief or providing holiday gifts for children in need.

One of the organizations we support is the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR) Foundation. This fall, REcolorado sponsored a reception at CAR’s 100-year celebration, which raised a stunning $100,000 for Colorado communities. Through grants made to non-profit organizations, the CAR Foundation will assist Coloradans with safe and attainable housing, homebuyer education, and housing-related disaster assistance. The Foundation also supports organizations providing long-term housing for veterans, emergency shelter for domestic violence victims, and programs for homelessness prevention.

We are proud to announce that our very own Deborah Shipley, REcolorado director of corporate communications and marketing, received the Distinguished Service Award for her outstanding work as this year’s CAR Foundation Chair. As Chair, Deborah worked tirelessly to bring the state together to showcase the contributions REALTORS® and brokers are making in their communities.

“REALTORS® are dedicated to serving their communities and have always been the heart of the Foundation,” said Deborah. “We’re thankful for their support and we look forward to sharing the stories of the lives that are changed for the better as a result of these grants.”
