REcolorado Listings Now Searchable in Google
Recently, REcolorado joined Google’s Home Discovery pilot program, a partnership between HouseCanary and Google that allows listings from participating MLS’s to appear directly in Google’s search results. The goal for the pilot is for Google to become another high-visibility channel for agents to display listings. Through the integration, active listings from participating REcolorado brokerages may appear directly within Google Search, giving homebuyers another way to discover available homes while ensuring listing brokers and agents receive direct attribution.
How Your Listing Data is Displayed Through Google
REcolorado sends listing data to HouseCanary, which formats and delivers the data through ComeHome, HouseCanary’s real estate platform, to Google’s Home Discovery Program. Google displays listings that match relevant search prompts. During the pilot, Google manages which listings are shown, so not every agent will see their listings appear in Google Search, even if they are participating in the program. The listings that do appear in search results show the agent’s name and brokerage, and potential buyers can click to contact the listing agent.
How this Program Benefits Your Business
REcolorado customers will receive greater visibility on their listings at no additional cost. Active listings published in REcolorado’s MLS will automatically appear in Google. If the program expands widely, agents could attract leads for their listings without relying on traditional portals. Additionally, agents would retain attribution for their listings. The program may also simplify a buyer’s search for homes by reducing the number of needed clicks to find Active listings.
